Well, things are coming along with the new studio/rehearsal space, should be done within a couple of weeks and ready for crankin' amps. We have been able to get some recording done though, our next song out like Steve has been telling ya will be Ese', all the tracks are done and we're mixing this week, we'll decide on a final mix this weekend and it will be out next week or as soon as Steve can get it posted. Sorry for the delay but we wanted to make sure everything was SKULLCAP ready before we let anyone hear it. Plus, with the addition of a cool new preamp to the Pro-Tools rig, things are sounding more to our liking.

08.15.06 We hope everybody is having/had a great summer, and as the students among you get back down to business, so do we. There has been a "Bio" page added to the site - in case you're not familiar with the SKULLCAP backstory -
and as you may notice on the bio page, we're changing our logo a bit. The entire site will be getting a facelift with this new font in the next few weeks.
Why not post in the forum what you think about the new font choice. AND while you're there...post a review under one of the song threads! A few people have checked 'em out,but no one will lay down some thoughts for us. We value what ya'll think, so let us know!!
Pat has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on a new mix of "Scab" and also getting the mix of our LATEST song entitled "Ese'"!! Hopefully both will be finished in the next week and get the SKULLCAP seal of approval right around the 2nd week of September. Both, of course, will be posted at our numberonemusic.com/skullcap site as well as
here on the MEDIA page, so check back in a couple of weeks for a new song update!

BIG NEWS!!! We just had to get online and throw down a quick update to let you know that we have captured the "Metal Track Of The Day" for Friday, July 14th on Garageband.com! We uploaded the new
track "Who The Fuck Are You?" and already have garnered a sweet 5/5 star rating!! Not only is the song "Metal Track Of The Day", but also took the "Best Drums Overall", "Best Metal Drums", and "Best Beat In Metal" for the week of July 10-14!
To say that we are extremely happy about this would be a great understatement. Thanks to all the Garageband.com members that reviewed "WTFAY" and be on the lookout for the Garageband debut of "Scab" SOON!!

Also, as we posted up last month we are steadily moving up at Numberonemusic.com. On June 24th we had a little over 20,000 plays on the site and I am proud to say that as of today, we have OVER 31,000

What's up everybody! All of us in the band hope that all of YOU had a great 4th of July holiday (the US residents, that is)! As for everybody else, we hope that all of YOU got FUBAR just because it was Tuesday!!
We just wanted to let ya know about a new addition to the site. We have now added a FORUM page to the site. We've recently posted up on some local and national sites wanting a few "reviews" of the new tracks, and have been met with little or no responses whatsoever. We're not sure why, but we have our own ideas... ANYWAY, part of our creating of the forum was to give you, the fans, a place to get together and connect about all things metal...and throw down a review or two of your own.
So add your two cents to the threads. There's only topics for the 3 latest additions to the media page, but feel free to post on whatever you want. Since it's a Bravenet forum, they prohibit cursing, so don't forget to say f*ck, or it'll substitute **** and that would just fucking suck. HAHA!

We've got some big news for you today!! We have completed the final vocals and mixes of not one but TWO brand new songs! Both "Who The Fuck Are You?" and the tentative title track to our next release "Scab" are posted on our
MEDIA page and ready for download RIGHT NOW!!
We originally planned on only releasing WTFAY right away, but when the mix of Scab went so quickly, we couldn't help ourselves! We feel an obligation to all of you out there to
let you know what's happening as soon as we can, so this was the obvious choice. Both songs are, as always, available for FREE download, so get on over to the MEDIA page RIGHT NOW!!!

06.04.06 Hey everybody! Long time no see, huh? Sorry for the massive delay in updating, but my computer has been completely screwed up and I finally got it up and running! I also wanted to drop a note to say that the MEDIA page is up and working again. Hopefully that is completely fixed, but if there are any problems feel free to email us thru the CONTACT page.
04.18.06 We have completed tracking on our "new" track "Who The Fuck Are You" and are in the process of getting the final mix ready for upload! We're also working on vocals for a few more new tracks, but that'll have to wait for next time...
I'd like to take this time to send out a big Thank You and a "Hell Yeah!" to our guitarist Pat for shelling out some major cheese on a new PA for the jam room! It sounds hella-sweet and I can't wait to give it the serious breaking in it deserves!!
03.20.06 Well, it looks like it's back to the drawing board looking for a drummer, go figure.... This has given Steve, Larry and myself a chance to write some new stuff and bring back a few killer new/old songs that no one has ever heard. Look for a BRAND new SKULLCAP song in the near future, just gotta make time to get Larry to the Studio to cut his vocals within the next few weeks. After that as soon as it is mixed up to SKULLCAP standards we'll post it right here. This one is a little different but very personal to me and is dedicated to my Mom who has been battling cancer for the last 2 1/2 years.

01.30.06 What's up everybody?!?! We've been holed up in the jam room getting the new songs tighter and trying to whip this drummer into shape! We've got a few new songs on the burners too. But more about them when the time is right...
The big news around here is Pat's addition of the Burriss Boostier pedal to his guitar arsenal! The pedal was custom made to Pat's exact specs, and when asked, this is what he had to say...

01.03.06 Happy New Year to all! We hope that everyone had a great Christmas and a completely mind numbing New Year! Did Santa bring you everything you wanted? Well, as the new year begins for all of us in the SKULLCAP camp, the pull of the stage is beginning to become unbearable, and we are chompin' at the bit to get back out there and tear it up live! We've broken ground on the new songs, and practices are going great. At this rate, we may be ready to go by as soon as March! Maybe enough for a "warm up" band set before then, but we'll have to see...
There's a couple of new songs floating around the jam room these days, so there may be even more new songs than we previously thought. If we're not careful we'll have a full CD soon!
That's it for now. Just wanted to check in with ya'll, wish everyone Happy Holidays, and let you know we're still hammerin' it out for ya. Keep spreadin' the word and we'll see ya in the clubs!!

11.21.05 Things are pretty slow right now, but all in all, everything is going well in the SKULLCAP camp as of late. Practice of the new songs and a little bit o' reworking on a few older ones is what's on the menu for us this Thanksgiving, and seeing how we're FINALLY in the process of hooking up with a new drummer, if all goes well we should be out tearin' up the clubs in late January/early February!! More on the drummer situation as things progress. AHHH, the secrecy...

10.23.05 What's up fuckers, it's me Pat with an update for this month. First off, new re-recordings of 3 brand new songs (musically) are 95% done, the 5% is me adding some harmonies to some leads and Larry's vocals (Which might I add are sounding killer). The new songs are alot more personal and dark than the songs from the Hatred CD and more DRUM driven by far. But don't expect us to be getting soft, the new stuff is more defining of what SKULLCAP is today. Basically more pissed off than ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can personally atest to that.
08.03.05 As Steve mentioned last update we finally got a new jam room (Thank God!!!) so lately we've been throwin' the carpet up on the walls, and I'm real happy to say the damn thing is almost complete. Hopefully in the near future we'll be lining up drummer auditions so we can get back to being the SKULLCAP we all know and love, ON STAGE!!!
But I digress, back to the update... Yes, I have been going thru guitar amps like most people do shit tickets, but hey - I've been looking for that ever elusive "PERFECT" tone for the new CD we're working on!
Speaking of the new songs, while the drummer search continues, and now that we have a jam room, we'll be perfecting the new tunage and give Larry a chance to hear the stuff live and LOUD to work on the lyrics.
Trust me, I can vouch that the new lyrics will be the most hate filled we've ever had, I'm not shitting you, people.
06.20.05 In the words of good Sheriff Rosco "Good news, good news!!" Drum roll......We're getting ready to begin the soundproofing of our new practice room!! Everything should be ready to go by the middle of JULY and we can start auditioning drummers again. I'll keep ya updated as we get closer...
It has been soooooo frustrating getting calls from so many drummers and not having ANYWHERE to audition them. But that seems to be over, and soon we hope to be a complete band again and get back out there kickin' yer asses!!
05.02.05 Bad news ppl...Pat has hurt hand at work and it looks like we're gonna have to drop out of the DID fest in June. Everything should be OK soon, but without being able to jam and break in a new drummer, we couldn't be 100%, so we felt that we had no other choice. Sorry to all the fans who planned on finally catching us live... We'll get back there VERY SOON!!!

It is an official JAGERMEISTER event, so you know it's gonna be sweet! We are all devestated by the sudden death of the master of metal guitar, Dimebag Darrell. For those of you who don't know, Dime was shot and killed onstage last night by a punkassed bitchboy who deserved to have his head ripped off, but unfortunately the cops shot his fucking ass before any real retribution from the band or fans could take place.
PanterA was a huge influence on SKULLCAP and we will miss his musical insanity forever. Our hearts go out to the Abbott family as well as the Damageplan crew and the families of the fans that this cocksucker also shot - killing some.
You were the best, Dime. You will be missed... 11.15.04UPDATES!!
There’s a lot of little things happening with the band lately. We’ve added ALL NEW shirt designs at our ONLINE STORE, as well as killer new buttons, mousepad designs, stash boxes and MUCH more!!SONGS,SONGS,SONGS!! We have also added almost ALL the songs from the Hatred Runs Deep sessions to the MEDIA page along with the last two songs to be completed with our last drummer.The whole site is undergoing some renovation with new backgrounds, icons, and intro sounds in the works to coincide with the release of the latest work up our sleeves to be entitled REBIRTH. The new stuff is coming right along and drummer auditions are not far away. As Pat says, the new songs are a lot heavier than what a lot of SKULLCAP fans may be used to, but we know you’ll dig the vibe soon enough. That’s it.
